Indonesia

Indonesia is one of the world’s most celebrated coffee origins, known for its bold, earthy flavors and rich cultural legacy. Stretching across thousands of islands and diverse climates, Indonesia produces a wide variety of Arabica coffees—each shaped by unique regional
terroir and traditional processing methods.

Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and Bali are among Indonesia’s key growing regions. Coffees from these areas often feature notes of dark chocolate, spices, tobacco, and tropical fruit. Indonesia is also famous for its unique ‘Giling Basah’ (wet-hulled) processing, which contributes to the full-bodied, low-acid profile that many roasters prize.

At Lhute Coffee, we are proud to showcase Grade 1 Arabica coffees from Indonesian cooperatives that emphasize quality, sustainability, and traceability. Whether washed, natural, or honey-processed, these coffees deliver a deep and satisfying experience in every cup.
